1. My Favorite Music From January 2012

    In the past I’ve tried to keep track of what my favorite albums and songs for the year were and I consistently failed. Keeping track of them every month is my best chance at succeeding. 

    I still haven’t decided on the criteria, the formatting, a clever name!, what I’ll include, and what I’ll exclude. For now, EP’s and LP’s are treated equally, because a lot of those distinctions don’t mean shit to me, and I’m not interested in doing deep thinking about “what constitutes an album in this internet age where, oh my god, everything’s changing!” I’ll leave that to those that enjoy arguing about mundane musical bullshit. I also plan on actually writing a little bit, but this time I’ll keep it short:
